Red Head Returns

A British auto magazine reported recently that Ferrari is planning to bring back the legendary Testarossa name. Apparently, the Italian sports car company is planning to introduce a model dubbed the F600 Testarossa late next year as a replacement for the 575M. The famous name, meaning “red head,” has been around since 1956 and last graced a 512 variant during the late 1980s. Word is, those famous gilled side flairs (sadly mocked by decals offered on GM’s J-cars) will return, along with a clear engine cover displaying a rumoured, rear-mounted V12 making around 550 horsepower.
