Toyota’s adding some more TRD to its lineup. Now the Sequoia is getting the TRD Pro treatment for 2020. That’s not the only change to the biggest Toyotas, the Tundra is getting TRD Sport Premium and TRD Off Road Premium trucks. Plus pricing for the entire lineup.

We’ll start with the Sequoia. The three-row Tundra-based SUV gets the TRD Pro treatment. The existing TRD Sport model came with Bilstein sport-tuned shocks, gloss black trim, and luxury bits like captains chairs for the second row and 20-inch alloys. The new TRD Pro model adds 18-inch forged wheels, 2.5-inch Fox internal bypass shocks, and Rigid Industries fog lights. Plus it gets a tubular roof rack and the Toyota heritage grille that looks so good on the Tacoma. There are also some touches inside like special floor mats and shift knob, then luxury add-ons like a power hatch, 14-speaker JBL audio, and navigation.

The rest of the Sequoia’s trims are unchanged, coming with a 5.7L, 381 hp V8 and a six-speed auto with four-wheel drive. Every Sequoia gets a factory tow pack with receiver and transmission fluid cooler.

On the pickup side, the 2020 Tundra TRD Sport Premium comes only as a crew cab truck. It adds some luxury features to the TRD Sport’s TRD-tuned Bilstein shocks and TRD front and rear sway bars. that means a 12-speaker JBL audio system, dual-zone climate control, and 10-way power driver’s seat with heat and ventilation for both front chairs. It also gets push-button start, 20-inch alloys, and a power sunroof.

TRD Off Road Premium similarly adds leather seats and premium audio with navigation to the Bilstein shocks, all terrain tires, and underbody protection of the base TRD Off Road trim. That gives the 2020 Tundra a dizzying 17 trim and cab choices.

Toyota had already announced other changes to the Tundra for 2020. Like a larger 8.0-inch screen on some models and a 7.0-incher on even the base SR5. Plus they’ve finally added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity to all Tundras.
